Hi, I'm Ashlee Deutsch.

I'm a Photographer based in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. I capture timeless and emotive narratives of your family in a style that's a bit "dark and moody". I have a passion for the beauty of nature and the warmth of human connection. I can’t wait to meet you at sunset, in the forest and tell the story of your family.


I'm so excited to move into my new studio space at Nazareth Center for the Arts to now offer studio sessions!

Education


I graduated from Kutztown University with a dual major - Bachelor of Fine Arts, Concentration in Photography as well as Bachelor of Science, Art Education.


My love for photography began at Nazareth Area High School when I took "Intro to Darkroom Photography". I really enjoyed the hands on process of spooling film, creating exposures in camera, developing film, exposing the film in the darkroom and then hand pulling the photo through the darkroom chemicals.


As a classically trained photographer I take great care in utilizing light, my lens and my camera to capture your memories. My experience as a teacher and a mother allows me to easily work with people of all ages, interests and personalities.
